No tricks here, just a bag full of satisfying treats! I have officially declared today’s post as THINGS THAT I LIKE AND THINK ARE TOTALLY AWESOME DAY! And you didn’t even know today was a holiday! Well it is. I even asked God to let you off work today in order to celebrate! How nice of me! What’s that you say? It’s Saturday? EXACTLY! So let’s celebrate!
1) Starting with this: Axe Cop
A person I am following on Twitter recently linked to this site & now I have a huge crush on it. Basically, the site was designed by this 29 yr. old comic artist/writer and his wickedly creative 5 yr. old little brother. The 5 yr. old is the one who writes the comics! He pretty much imagines all the crazy plots and tells them to his also incredibly creative brother who then organizes them into a non-5 year old thought pattern and illustrates the “plot” into a kick-butt comic. I find them to be very amusing, but even if you don’t, you have to give this bro team their props for being so creative. So check it out if you have time/want to/know someone who is obsessed with comics.

2) BOOKS! I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking, “gosh I wish I had some McDonald’s fries right now” but you’re also probably thinking about your lack of enthusiasm for books. Well……. I love magazines, webzines, websites, webvideos, vlogs, theINTERNETingeneral, TV, movies, ETC… ETC… but every now and then, it’s nice to sit down with a good ol’ fashion hardback/paperback and pass the time by losing yourself in the written word that does not include crossword puzzles and/or Target advertisements. It’s all about picking the right books. I guarantee there is something out there for YOU. YESYOU!
Here are some of my current book crushes. Some of them I have read. Some of them have been recommended to me and are on my to do list. 3) THIS: Ok, so I love the smell of this men’s cologne. If you are a guy you will love wearing it & if you are a girl, you will love smelling it on your fella, the stranger walking by who put too much on & maybe smells like he took a bath in it, or just the magazine inserts. Whatever the case may be… it smells really good.
So to recap: we have AXE COP, books and good smelling men’s cologne. I don’t know about you, but I call this a successful bag of treats.
